Spatial design

Building fully immersive experiences

Working with VR, AR, lighting, projections, or even architecture, spatial design is the craft of bringing people into your organisation’s world, playing with multiple senses, and making your vision come alive, in full scale, in a variety of contexts.

“A visual accident; while coding and setting up a music festival installation, in the middle of a July summer night, the green LED panels expressed a beautiful contrast in colour and light, between nature and digital technology.”

The challenge we encountered was creating an immersive and cost-effective experience. As in darkness you can easily direct the users attention where you desire we started to explore the possibility of using augmented reality (AR) in a fully dark room — however, we soon realised the challenge to run AR effectively in the darkness as the devices cannot track the room perspective.

Here some initial testing with black light and tape.

The primary goal was to achieve a presence that was both simple yet impactful. The booth centered around an LED tower, serving as a focal point for displaying 72 hours' worth of digital content, encompassing both emotional and practical information.

The main products elegantly showcased on a ring of light providing a clear and refined presentation.
